Homes Designed for Real Life For more than 35 years, I've been helping homeowners create spaces that are beautiful, practical, and thoughtfully designed for the way they live. Throughout my career I've worked on residential and commercial projects of every size—from colour consultations and room transformations to complete renovations, new home construction, accessibility planning, and project management. Originally from Yorkshire, England, I moved to Canada in 1988 and have proudly called Calgary home ever since. One of my greatest strengths is seeing possibilities that others often overlook. Whether it's opening up a floor plan, reimagining an older home, or planning for future accessibility, I enjoy helping clients look beyond what their home is today and imagine what it could become. I've been fortunate to receive international design awards, appear on Calgary's Breakfast Television, contribute to Calgary's Kids Help Phone Designer Showcase, and have my work featured in Avenue Magazine and Best Homes magazine. However, the accomplishment I'm most proud of is the trust my clients place in me and the relationships we've built together over many years. Today, my goal remains simple—to help people make confident decisions and create homes that truly support the way they live.
Good design isn't just about how a home looks—it's about how it lives.

My Design Approach Thoughtful Design for the Way You Live I believe great design is about far more than choosing colours or furnishings. It's about understanding how you live, listening to your goals, and creating spaces that are beautiful, functional, and designed to support everyday life.
Every home and every family is different, which is why I never believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. Whether I'm planning a renovation, reviewing plans for a new home, or helping someone prepare for the future, my focus is always on thoughtful planning, practical solutions, and helping clients make confident decisions.
Good design should stand the test of time. It should work beautifully today while continuing to meet your needs for many years to come.
Commercial & Workplace Design Thoughtful design isn't limited to homes. Whether it's a home office, professional workspace, or commercial environment, I help create spaces that improve workflow, organisation, accessibility, and everyday functionality while reflecting your business and the people who work within it. My recommendations are always tailored to the way you work, creating environments that are practical, welcoming, and designed to support productivity.
As part of my professional development, I studied Feng Shui with internationally recognised Feng Shui Master Marie Diamond. While my work today focuses on practical design, renovation planning, and creating homes that truly support the people who live in them, the principles of balance, flow, and thoughtful space planning continue to influence my design philosophy.
